The location and setting of the hotel is breathtaking. You are almost guaranteed to experience a great vacation, regardless of which of the hotels that you choose to stay in. At the Riu Palace Riviera Maya there are enjoyable day and night time entertainment programs. There are regular clubs and activities provided for children, with the age groups of four to seven and eight to twelve.
If you enjoy sports activities, then there are tennis courts, volleyball nets, billiards tables and a gym to use on site.
There is also an impressive eighteen hole golf course if you fancy a game with friends and family.
Water sports include the option of an introductory scuba lesson, plus windsurfing, kayaking and snorkeling.
After all that exercise though you will no doubt be in need for a refreshing drink. The food and drink at the Riu Palace is based as part of the all inclusive package and is available twenty four hours a day.
There is an American style buffet for breakfast and continental selections to choose from. The a la carte restaurants at the resort include Japanese, Mexican, Steakhouse and Brazilian varieties. There is a room service menu for you to order from plus a fridge which is restocked daily.
This resort is great for families. There is a playground on site and a separate swimming pool for the kids. The rooms are also usually quite spacious, allowing enough room for the family to spread out and relax. The layout of the hotel in general is good and the grounds around the resort are all immaculately presented and maintained.
